National 9/11 memorial starts charging $2 booking fee
Mon Apr 15, 2013
Maintaining a location like this cannot be cheap. I am happy to pay a small booking fee to make sure it's well taken care of and that they have the ability to improve and add things to the memorial. I don't think it's unreasonable.
High-heel sneakers wedge their way onto kids feet – but should they?
Thu Feb 14, 2013
It's not about whether or not they're cute (which I kind of think they are), it's about the damage it can do to little feet. Kids shouldn't be wearing heels. Even women who wear heels aren't doing themselves any favors.
'Downton Abbey' boosts interest in products inspired by 'bygone era'
Mon Jan 28, 2013
Aside from the fashion and furnishings inspired by the show, I wish I could find the pantry supply chart from the kitchen. I need one of those in my house. Can't wait to see the Downton inspired clothes.

Professional clown gets 10 years in prison for child rape in Southern California
Thu Oct 11, 2012
How is it possible that this sick POS only gets ten years and the mother who beat her child gets 99 years? How are these sentences decided, with a Bingo set? Both crimes are horribly wrong and neither should see the light of day again.

Digital Afterlife: What happens to your online accounts when you die?
Fri Jun 1, 2012
But that doesn't apply to anything else we "own." Unless there is a will, all property goes to the estate, even the stuff you wouldn't have wanted anyone to find out about. Just because it's electronic shouldn't make it any different as far as ownership goes. The laws are just so slow to catch up. I …
25 years after bullying, Facebook poem prompts Class of 1987 to make amends
Fri May 18, 2012
I think this is probably a very common feeling for people who were bullied and people who did the bullying. It's a tricky situation though, because every one of these people are not the same people they were 25 years ago.
